Our patented video virtualisation technology solves a global problem: most of the world’s video remains locked in legacy file formats that are expensive to store, hard to search and difficult to personalise at scale. ION removes that bottleneck, enabling a single master file to power unlimited virtual versions in kilobytes, created instantly and without duplication or loss of control.
We are founder‑led, guided by the original inventor of our core technology, and supported by experienced executives and directors with proven track records in scaling technology, commercialisation and capital markets. Anthony Baker
Anthony began his career as a top‑ranked Wall Street analyst and has since founded and scaled multiple businesses, including ventures exceeding US$100 million in annual revenue. At ION he focuses on strategy, execution and capital allocation, building a scalable business around the company’s patented infrastructure.
Finbar O’Hanlon
Finbar is the original inventor of ION’s core technology and has more than 30 years’ experience taking ideas from concept to commercialisation across software, media and innovation advisory roles. He leads ION’s product and innovation strategy, ensuring the company stays ahead as video and AI converge.
AJ Palmer
AJ is a two‑time European Entrepreneur of the Year with several successful exits in gaming, social and health technology. He leads go‑to‑market, partnerships and special projects, turning ION’s technology into commercial traction and strategic relationships.
Sophie Karzis
Sophie is a leading Australian governance and compliance professional with extensive experience supporting ASX‑listed growth companies. She oversees ION’s ASX reporting, regulatory compliance and governance frameworks to support long‑term, sustainable growth.

Brent Jones
Mr. Jones is an experienced financial services professional who has held numerous directorships and managerial positions. Most recently, Mr. Jones acted as Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed Latin Resources Ltd for 15 years; the business was sold to Pilbara Minerals Ltd in February 2025. Prior to and during that role, Mr. Jones was a Founder and Managing Director of InterPrac Ltd, which was sold to Sequoia Financial Group (ASX:SEQ), a national supplier of diversified professional services to the Accounting and Advice industry. As a professional and personal investor, Mr. Jones has been exposed to numerous mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, capital raisings, early seed funding, and development funding activities.

Andrew Demetriou
Andrew was CEO of the Australian Football League (AFL) from 2003 until June 2014 and prior to that served as AFL General Manager – Football Operations and head of the AFL Players Association. Mr Demetriou is currently Co-Chair of the National Basketball League (NBL) Advisory Board. He was formerly a Director of the Melbourne Sports Marketing firm, Bastion Group, Director, Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Capitol Health Limited, Chairman of Board of Management, Cox Architecture, Non-Executive Director of Crown Resorts Limited and Chairman of Crown Melbourne. He recently completed a two year term on the Australian Referendum Council for Indigenous recognition in the Constitution and is a former Chairman of the Australian Multicultural Advisory Council.
